Key Details
- Position: Legal Expert — Litigation
- Type: Contract
- Compensation: $100–$150/hour
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 15+ hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Design legally realistic scenarios from your litigation practice, including:
- Motions
- Discovery
- Depositions
- Briefs
- Case strategy
- Write "golden" reference responses at attorney-level quality to enhance model training.
- Grade AI-generated responses using structured rubrics to ensure alignment with legal standards.
- Provide written feedback to the research team to improve model behavior and reasoning.
- Participate in:
- Onboarding office hours
- Specialty calibration sessions (to maintain quality and consistency)

Qualifications
Must-Have
- 1–4 years of professional experience in civil litigation at:
- A law firm
- A government agency
- A legal department
- Hold a J.D. (U.S.) or LL.B./LL.M. from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the U.S.
- Excellent written communication skills with a high attention to detail.

Preferred
- E-discovery experience (Relativity, document coding, privilege review).
- Appellate or trial experience.
- Familiarity with case management software.
