The Credit Hire department is one of the firm’s highest-performing teams, led by three experienced Partners and comprising around 50 specialists across Manchester and London. What you’ll be doing
- Handling your own caseload of litigated delegated authority small claims and/or fast track claims (dependent on experience)
- Managing cases from instruction through to resolution
- Working on high-value and technically complex credit hire cases, some exceeding £50K
- Supporting work on appeals, credit hire fraud, and strategic litigation
- Assisting in shaping case strategy and contributing to wider team objectives
- Building and maintaining relationships with insurer clients
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes
What do I need?
- Ideally 12 months’ experience handling credit hire files or experience within the insurance industry
- Applications from law graduates with a demonstrable interest in Credit Hire Litigation will also be considered
- A strong work ethic and a proactive, self-motivated attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Strong initiative and creative problem-solving skills
- A collaborative approach and commitment to teamwork
- Enthusiasm to learn and develop within a specialist area of law
