An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join a highly regarded Legal 150 firm, based in their Nottingham office, with paid parking!

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organised legal secretary with a background in litigation who is looking to join a supportive and collaborative firm with excellent development opportunities. You will play a key role in supporting the Litigation team, providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support to ensure matters are managed efficiently while delivering an excellent service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to the Litigation team
  • Prepare, format and amend legal documents, correspondence and court documentation
  • Manage fee earners’ diaries, appointments and meetings
  • Liaise confidently with clients, courts and third parties via telephone, email and post
  • Open, maintain and close client files in line with firm procedures
  • Assist with document management, scanning, filing and general administration
  • Support with billing processes, file management and wider departmental tasks
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed deadlines
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to firm policies and procedures

About You:

Are you an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys providing high-quality support to fee earners and clients?

You will have:

  • Previous litigation legal secretarial experience (essential)
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • The ability to work effectively to deadlines while maintaining a professional approach
  • A proactive, reliable and client-focused attitude
