Litigation Legal Secretary 📍 Spalding 💼 Full-time | Permanent 💰 £25,000 - £31,000
The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Legal Secretary based in the Spalding office. This role is ideal for an experienced legal secretary with a background in litigation who is looking to join a highly regarded and supportive law firm. You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Litigation team, ensuring the smooth running of matters while delivering an exceptional level of client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Litigation team.
- Prepare, format and amend legal documents, correspondence, and court documentation.
- Manage fee earners' diaries, appointments, and meetings.
- Liaise professionally with clients, courts, and third parties via telephone, email, and post.
- Open, maintain, and close client files in accordance with firm procedures.
- Assist with document management, scanning, filing, and general office administration.
- Support billing processes, file management, and other departmental administrative tasks.
- Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed timescales.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with firm policies and procedures.

About You We are looking for an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary who can work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment. You will have:
- Previous litigation legal secretarial experience (essential).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience using legal case management systems would be advantageous.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
- A professional, proactive, and client-focused approach.
