Legal Secretary
We are seeking a Legal Secretary to work for a highly regarded intellectual property law firm providing support to a team of busy IP Litigation fee-earners (including partners.)
This is a varied and fast-paced position supporting Solicitors with a broad range of secretarial, administrative and paralegal duties. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who has previous experience providing administrative support to a litigation legal team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing correspondence, legal documents and agreements.
- Providing comprehensive secretarial support to Solicitors with minimal supervision.
- Managing files, including electronic filing, scanning and document management.
- Sending correspondence and emails on behalf of Solicitors.
- Completing conflict checks.
- Preparing and processing client invoices, including debit and credit notes.
- Opening and closing files using case management systems.
- Maintaining key dates, deadlines and diary entries.
- Processing expenses.
- Providing PA support, including diary management, arranging meetings and booking travel.

About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
- Previous experience providing administrative support in a litigation legal environment.
- Experience preparing trial bundle advantageous.
- Strong typing and document production skills.
- Experience preparing client bills within a legal environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using digital dictation/audio typing would be advantageous but is not essential.
