The Job
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established litigation team, providing support across a varied caseload from instruction through to conclusion. Working closely with experienced solicitors, you will assist with case preparation, client communication, drafting legal documentation, and ensuring files are progressed efficiently while maintaining exceptional client service. The Role
- Assisting solicitors with the management of a varied litigation caseload
- Drafting legal documentation, correspondence, pleadings, and court papers
- Preparing court bundles and supporting trial preparation
- Liaising with clients, counsel, medical experts, courts, and third parties
- Managing diaries, court deadlines, and key case milestones
- Conducting legal research and gathering supporting documentation
- Maintaining and updating case management systems with accurate file notes
- Ensuring all files are managed in accordance with regulatory and firm procedures
- Maintaining strict confidentiality and delivering a high standard of client care
The Person
- Previous experience working as a Litigation Paralegal, within a litigation support role, or as a Claims Handler within an insurance environment is essential
- Experience supporting Personal Injury, Civil Litigation, or General Litigation matters is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office packages
- Able to work independently while also contributing positively within a team environment
- Proactive, professional, and committed to delivering exceptional client service
