Join our growing in-house Legal Team as our Litigation Solicitor and use your expertise to make a tangible difference to communities. Every successful case helps reduce external legal costs, freeing up more resources to invest in homes and services for our customers.

What You'll Be Doing
- Managing a varied housing litigation caseload, including disrepair, possession, anti-social behaviour, service charge recovery and leasehold disputes.
- Providing practical, solutions-focused legal advice to colleagues and stakeholders across the business.
- Representing the organisation in legal proceedings and overseeing matters through to resolution.
- Supervising and supporting a Paralegal within the team.
- Working with external legal providers to secure high-quality, value-for-money outcomes.
- Supporting the Head of Legal and deputising when required.
- Helping operational teams manage legal risk and deliver excellent services to customers.

Salary
The spot salary for the Litigation Solicitor post is £64,405 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. If you’re still developing some of the skills or experience, you can start at a salary 5% or 10% below the spot rate, with clear support and progression opportunities to reach the full amount.
About You
You'll be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience managing a complex housing litigation caseload and providing clear, pragmatic legal advice. Confident working independently and collaboratively, you'll build strong relationships across the business and be able to translate complex legal issues into practical guidance for colleagues and senior stakeholders alike.
Organised and proactive, you'll be comfortable balancing competing priorities, managing risk and delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly, you'll be passionate about delivering customer-focused legal services and making a positive impact through your expertise.
The successful applicant will be subject to pre-employment checks, such as DBS and social media screening, before an offer is confirmed.

Stage 2: A Place to Show Your Strengths
A role related assessment and behavioural and scenario-based interview focused on how you apply your knowledge to real-life situations. You'll be asked to complete a Behavioural Questionnaire in advance.
Planned date: TBC at our Bradford office.
