Job Description
We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Live-In Carer to join our amazing Home Instead Wakefield branch.
In this job role, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them stay independent. For this position, a driving license and access to your own vehicle is required. This is because the client will need to be driven to hospital appointments, shopping trips, etc.
As a Live-In Care professional, you have your own room and access to a TV and Wi-Fi. On top of this, we offer:
- Paid monthly at the rate of £130.00 plus a £10.00 a day food allowance during placements
- 2 weeks on 2 weeks off
- 2-hour break every day
- Travel expense contribution
- Initial and ongoing training (which is paid)

Key responsibilities:
- Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation, medication, and light housework
- Accompanying to appointments or shopping
- Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
- Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit.
