The Role
This is a strategic business development role focused on generating new live-in care packages through professional referrals, community partnerships, and self-funded enquiries.
You will develop relationships with healthcare professionals, local authorities, support organisations, and community groups while promoting the benefits of live-in care to families seeking alternatives to residential care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, nurturing referral partnerships, and supporting potential clients through the enquiry and assessment process.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Referral Generation
- Develop and implement a growth strategy for live-in care services.
- Build relationships with:
- Hospital discharge teams
- Social workers
- Continuing Healthcare teams
- Occupational therapists
- District nurses
- GP practices
- Case managers
- Solicitors and financial advisors
- Generate qualified live-in care enquiries and referrals.
- Create opportunities within private-pay and local authority markets.

- Represent our client at networking events, exhibitions, and community groups.
- Deliver presentations to healthcare professionals and community organisations.
- Increase awareness of live-in care as an alternative to residential care.
- Build relationships with charities and support groups including dementia, Parkinson's, and stroke organisations.
Family Consultations
- Respond to live-in care enquiries.
- Meet prospective clients and families.
- Explain Live-In Care services and unique approach.
- Assist in converting enquiries into assessments and care packages.
Marketing & Partnerships
- Work closely with the marketing team to generate leads.
- Support campaigns promoting live-in care.
- Maintain an accurate CRM system and referral database.
- Produce monthly reports detailing activity, pipeline, and conversions.
Success Measures
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Build a network of key referral partners.
- Deliver a consistent pipeline of qualified enquiries.
- Increase live-in care assessments.
- Secure new live-in care packages.
- Achieve agreed revenue growth targets.

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, account management, or relationship management.
- Excellent networking and communication skills.
- Strong presentation abilities.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
- Passion for improving outcomes for older people and vulnerable adults.
Desirable Experience
- Home care or healthcare business development.
- Experience working with social care professionals.
- Knowledge of local healthcare and social care systems.
- Understanding of live-in care services.
- Experience using CRM systems.
What We Offer
- Earn £500 for every live-in care package that successfully starts
- In addition, you'll receive 10% of the package's invoiced revenue for the first 12 months, paid monthly while the client remains in service.
