About the Role
Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking a Live-in Carer for a gentleman who has sustained a spinal cord injury several years ago. He lives alone in a well-maintained flat in East Sussex (BN23 area) and enjoys outdoor activities such as hydro therapy or strolling along the boardwalk.
You will be part of a team, sharing responsibilities with another carer to provide support. Your assignment involves:
- 2 weeks of live-in care, followed by a 2-week rest period.
- The option for a 1-week contract with another client (if eligible).
- The possibility of joining our Standby Rota, allowing flexible work from home if qualified.
Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you excel in your caregiving role. Your client values an organisation and cleanliness—the ideal carer will respect these needs while maintaining a calm environment.

📡 Live-In Care Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, and daily living activities.
- Provide spinal injury care support and encourage independence.
- Observe and record the client’s health status, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Arrange client transport for appointments, outings, and travel as needed.

Job Responsibilities
