Live-In Carer – Experienced working with Dementia Location: Tring, Hertfordshire Salary: £122 per day Schedule: LIVE-IN, 2 WEEKS ON/ 2 WEEKS OFF Love being active, getting out and about, and making a real difference every day? We are immediately hiring a compassionate and experienced live-in care assistant to join our team where no two days are the same — from countryside walks and café trips to supporting our client in enjoying the places and routines they love most, you’ll bring energy, companionship, and care that helps people truly live life to the fullest. About the role: You will be part of a close-knit, highly professional live-in care team who offer plenty of guidance and support. As a live-in care assistant, you'll live in a client's home, working two weeks on, followed by two weeks off, providing dedicated, personalised support. This vital role allows our clients to remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. Your responsibilities will typically include: Preparing meals, light housekeeping, and running errands Companionship, engaging in activities, and providing emotional support Prompting medication and monitoring general well-being Assisting with daily routines like washing and dressing You'll have dedicated breaks and your own private annex separate from the home. Within this role you will be providing consistent, high-quality care that truly makes a difference. What you'll bring to the role: We're looking for compassionate and experienced carers who share our values of trust, compassion, respect, and knowledge. To thrive in this role, you'll need: At least two years of professional care experience in a live-in, domiciliary, care assistant, support worker, or personal healthcare assistant role You must have previous, proven professional experience in the following areas: Dementia care: experience supporting adults with dementia, desirably with Posterior Cortical Atrophy Comfortable with dogs: within this placement our client has a dog, the successful candidate must be happy with this Driver: As our client is active, it’s really important for them to have a carer that drives as they enjoy being out and exploring Couples: within this placement you will be looking after one client that lives with her husband Right to work: We do not offer Visa Sponsorship or Certificates of Sponsorship - you must have the right to work in the UK What we offer you: Highly Supportive Structure: A genuine team environment with clear direction from a dedicated, Care Manager Excellent Rota: A stable, reliable 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off schedule Competitive Pay: Up to £122 per day Rewarding bonuses: get a £5 daily client happiness bonus and up to £300 for every friend you refer!
