Live-In Health Care Assistant - Oxfordshire
Location: Village near Witney, Oxfordshire, OX18
Job Title: Short Stay — Personal Assistant
Schedule: 3 or 4-day long shifts with sleep-in support required
About the Role
You’ll assist our inventive client—someone who thrives on social engagements, travel, and university life—maintaining her independence and an active lifestyle. This includes:

One-to-one personal care

Mobility and daily routine assistance

Logistical support for work, university, social events, and travel (including UK/overseas trips).

Careful packing for events like art retreats or lectures.

Adaptability to physical demands, including manual handling, including capability for lone manual tasks.

Must be a confident, competent driver with a full UK driving licence and experience operating large, accessible vans.

- Provide discreet and supportive personal care assistance
- Assist with mobility, routines, and daily activities
- Accompany the client to uni lectures, work, exhibitions, and social events
- Help manage travel and trips domestically and abroad
- Support time and energy management for study, work, and social life
- Light housekeeping, healthy meal prep, and medication reminders
- Act as a calm, responsible, tidy, and attentive presence
What We’re Looking For
- Confident, proactive, adaptable person with strong organisational skills
- Experience isn’t critical but willingness to learn is essential
- Fluent command of spoken/written English
- Emotional intelligence and a sense of discretion when required
- Commitment to a rotational schedule (flexible; examples: 2 weeks on/off)
- Enjoys travel and variety in your routine
- UK legal right to work, with ability for cross-Europe travel

Notes
- Final remuneration depends on shift schedules and includes accrued holiday.
