IMG is a leading global sports marketing agency, specialising in media rights management, multi-channel content production, brand partnerships, strategic consulting, digital services, and events management. Our clients include top-tier federations, tournaments, and leagues such as the National Football League (NFL), Premier League, ATP/TWA Tours, and Wimbledon. As a premier production centre, IMG Studios boasts cutting-edge infrastructure, including:
- 4 HD broadcast TV studios
- 10 production galleries
- 50 edit suites, 50 edit workstations
- 3D graphics & visual effects team
- A 5-transmission Master Control Room monitoring over 800 HD inputs and outputs
This is an exciting opportunity to join IMG Studios as a Live Operations Supervisor on a permanent basis, working with prestigious global clients such as Formula 1, UEFA, CBS, and Wimbledon.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth, high-quality delivery of all Live Operations and technical television requirements.
- Take ownership of daily Live Operations at IMG Studios, supervising:
- Master Control Room (MCR) operators
- Engineers
- Relevant freelance staff
- Act as the primary point of contact for Live Operations on an ongoing basis.
- Collaborate closely with the Live Technical Operations Manager and cross-functional teams:
- Delivery Operations
- Commercial teams
- Engineering teams
- Align technical facilities and operational deliveries with client expectations, proactively addressing challenges.
- Document and communicate issues throughout the workflow, including:
- Incident reports to relevant stakeholders
- Preventive measures for recurring issues
- Ensure knowledge transfer and mentorship within the team.
- Document and standardise technical and operational procedures.
- Recommend operational & technical improvements to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Extensive industry experience in technical broadcast or transmission operations (engineering, live gallery, post-production).
- Proven problem-solving ability and a mindset tuned for technical innovation.
- Strong supervisory experience, with demonstrated facility managing teams and client-facing interactions.
- Excellent industry knowledge of:
- TV production workflows
- Post-production processes
- Television broadcasting technologies
- Established commercial relationships with clients and vendors.
- Strong communicator with clarity and confidence, internally and externally.

Working Conditions
- Permanent Role
- Location: Stockley Park, Uxbridge
- Hours: 9:00–17:00, Monday to Friday (including shift patterns).
- Travel: May require attendance at:
- IMG’s other buildings
- Industry events
- On-site at events (travel included as necessary)
- On-Call: Unsocial hours and weekend work may occur, based on production schedules.
