About the Company

Play a pivotal role in sourcing high-quality livestock while building lasting partnerships with farmers across the South West. We are recruiting for a Livestock Buyer to join a thriving, award-winning agricultural business with a strong industry presence and an exciting period of sustained growth.

Operating across the South West of England, you will be responsible for securing a consistent supply of high-quality livestock, developing new supplier relationships, and strengthening the procurement network across your region. Working closely with farmers and livestock producers, you'll use your commercial acumen and knowledge of livestock production systems, breeding, and quality standards to source livestock that meets both customer specifications and business requirements.

Working remotely with regular travel throughout your region, you'll join a forward-thinking organisation that is passionate about sustainable agriculture, exceptional animal welfare, and developing long-term partnerships with producers. If you enjoy working closely with the farming community, thrive on building relationships, and are looking for a role where you can make a real difference, this is an excellent opportunity to further your career.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
