Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Living Carer role based in Slough. The Living Carer will provide day-to-day personal care and support, including assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and medication prompts, in line with individual care plans. The role involves supporting with meal preparation, light household tasks, and maintaining a clean, safe living environment. The Living Carer will offer companionship, emotional support, and encourage independence, wellbeing, and social engagement. The role also requires accurate record-keeping, clear communication with the wider care team and families, and adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in domiciliary care, live-in care, or similar adult social care roles.
- Basic knowledge of personal care, safeguarding, and supporting adults to live independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
- Ability to work responsibly in a client’s home, manage time effectively, and follow care plans.
- Empathetic, patient, and respectful approach, with commitment to dignity and person-centered care.
- Willingness to work full time on-site in Slough, including potential evenings, weekends, or holidays.
- Right to work in the UK; enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references required.
- Relevant care training or qualifications (e.g., NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care) are an advantage.
