Customer Support
Location(s): Liverpool — Working across our Lloyds and Halifax branches within a reasonable distance
Hours: 17.5 hours per week, including Saturdays
Working Pattern: Part-time
Salary: £13,100 (increasing to £13,475 after six months)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide face-to-face customer support in our branches.
- Handle everyday banking tasks but place a strong focus on helping customers through important moments—such as bereavement, fraud concerns, or vulnerable customer needs.
- Offer reassurance, guidance, and practical support, including confidence-building for online and mobile banking.
- Adapt to different customer requirements and identify opportunities to recommend relevant products or services.
You don’t need existing banking expertise—training is provided. What matters is your ability to stay calm under pressure, remain adaptable, and demonstrate empathy.
- Progress may include expanding into phone, online, web chat, video, or social media support as you grow with the company.

What We’re Looking For
- A minimum 12 months of customer service experience.
- A natural people person—genuine, honest, and committed to helping customers with their finances (no prior financial services experience required).
- Ability to build relationships quickly for an outstanding customer experience.
- Strong empathy and integrity—listening, resolving issues thoroughly, and earning customer trust.
- Commitment to delivering on promises and going above and beyond for customers.
- A collaborative team mindset, working closely with colleagues to deliver outstanding support.
