Lloyds Banking Group Customer Support - Liverpool

JOB TITLE: Customer Support

LOCATION(S): Liverpool – Working across Lloyds and Halifax branches within a reasonable distance

HOURS: Part-time (17.5 hours per week, including Saturdays)

WAGE: Basic pay: £13,100 per annum Increasing to £13,475 after 6 months

PROMOTIONAL OPORTUNITIES: Potential to progress into roles across the Group, including remote customer support, digital, operations, financial planning and leadership


About the Role

A part-time branch-based opportunity to support customers face-to-face in Lloyds or Halifax branches.

End Date: Friday 10 July 2026


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Use your customer service skills to provide face-to-face support in Lloyds Banking Group’s branches
  • Help people during important life moments—offering support during bereavement, resolving fraud concerns, assisting vulnerable customers, or helping them build confidence with digital banking
  • Adapt to different customer needs and promote and support digital services, enabling people to use online and mobile banking independently
  • Recognise sales opportunities, recommending the right products to meet customer needs

Since financial background isn’t mandatory, Lloyds will train you on the job. Key qualities include:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 12 months of customer service experience
  • A people-first attitude, whether they’ve worked in financial services or not
  • The ability to build rapid rapport with customers
  • Empathy and integrity, committed to resolving queries thoroughly
  • A teammwork mindset—collaborating with colleagues to ensure exceptional service
