Our client is a leading European integrated energy company with a rapidly growing LNG portfolio and international trading platform. As part of its continued investment in LNG and natural gas, the business is looking to strengthen its commercial optimisation and structuring capabilities, offering the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of global LNG assets and transactions within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Overview of the role:
- Develop and maintain valuation and risk assessment models for a growing LNG trading portfolio.
- Evaluate and structure complex deals, balancing market, project, credit, and regulatory risks.
- Collaborate with traders, originators, and internal stakeholders to optimise portfolio performance.
- Build strong external networks to gather market intelligence and identify new opportunities.
- Provide independent deal analysis and innovative structuring solutions.

Required experience and skills:
- 5+ years of LNG experience within optimisation, origination, trading, or business development environment.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and financial modelling skills.
- Deep understanding of the LNG value chain and contractual agreements.
- Proven transactional experience and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills.
