You will be working Monday to Friday 2100 - 0530 night shift with a basic hours salary of £26,540 per year, average pay of £35,349 including allowances and unsocial hours. Overtimes paid at an exchange rate.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
- To be the ‘go-to’ person for the Loading Bay team Leader, for holidays, uniform, shift changes/cover, etc.
- Drive productivity and effectiveness by leading an approach that is consistent with demand (i.e. trailers loaded).
- This is a hands-on role, designed to ensure that gaps in cover can be supported.
- Lead communications up and down stream for this remit.
- Complete the requisite number of safety observations on warehouse activities, including (but not limited to) housekeeping inspections, Lopa audits and B-safes.
- Liaise with the traffic office on observed anomalies and/or poor practice.
- Liaise appropriately and constructively with the team as required.
- Managing processes to ensure the SSOW are being followed.
- Upholding health and safety standards
- Reducing damages by promoting good handling of items.

What You Need To Succeed At XPO
- Minimum of 1 year in a warehouse/industrial setting working with commercial vehicles, movements and vehicle loading.
- Minimum 1 year working in MHE centric environments.
- Some supervisory/leadership experience
- Minimum of 3 years in industrial settings such as warehouses, production units is desirable
- Experience of physical work/activity
