Local Business Development Manager

Location: Glasgow Franchise: Land Rover Employer: Park's Motor Group

About the Role

As a Local Business Development Manager at Park’s Motor Group, your role will encompass every aspect of the business-to-business customer experience. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment driving Fleet and Corporate sales.

We’re seeking candidates with:

  • Experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales seeking a new challenge, or
  • Prior retail sales or face-to-face sales experience with proven prospecting, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of their career, drive outstanding commercial results, and deliver exceptional service to a diverse range of business and fleet customers—from local businesses to major operators.

Key Accountabilities

  • Independently source, develop, and secure new business through telephone prospecting, direct surveys, and networking to grow the commercial client base.
  • Deliver consistent commercial sales targets under tight deadlines.
  • Operate effectively independently with minimal supervision, directing your own work while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
  • Adapt to varying demands from different business customer profiles and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Utilise strong negotiation and influencing skills to close sales and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a high degree of organisation and administrative quality.

Core Technical Requirements

✔ Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence for a minimum of 12 months.
