Local Leader (Equity Position Only) – UK Based
This unique leadership opportunity to shape and grow a local startup ecosystem is now open for a Local Leader (remote-based in the United Kingdom).
You will drive early-stage entrepreneurial activity by launching and managing a globally recognized accelerator program in your region. This role combines community leadership, program management, and hands-on founder mentorship in a fast-paced startup environment. As part of a proven global framework supporting thousands of startups worldwide, you will help build local engagement while fostering high-potential technology companies. Ideal for individuals passionate about early-stage innovation and long-term impact, this is a mission-driven, equity-based position with a part-time commitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a local startup ecosystem through operation of a 4-month accelerator program.
- Organize and facilitate regular workshops, online sessions, and in-person networking events for early-stage founders.
- Recruit, engage, and manage a network of mentors, advisors, and investors to support participating startups.
- Provide direct mentorship to founders, guiding them through key startup development challenges.
- Build and maintain strong local relationships with the innovation and startup community to drive participation.
- Act as the primary advocate for the accelerator, promoting its mission and expanding its reach.
- Support selection processes and contribute to broader ecosystem growth.

Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience in the UK/Radboud ecosystem, either as a founder, operator, investor, or ecosystem builder.
- Strong ability to lead programs, communities, or entrepreneurial initiatives independently in a structured manner.
- Deep understanding of early-stage startup development, fundraising, and scalability challenges.
- Exceptional communication and networking skills, with experience engaging founders, mentors, and investors.
- Entrepreneurial mindset—driven by ownership, initiative, and long-term value.
- Commitment to working 8–10 flexible hours per week (part-time).
- Based in the United Kingdom with existing local ecosystem connections.
