EM FX and Rates Trader (Vice President) | Crédit Agricole CIB | London
Crédit Agricole CIB is seeking an experienced Emerging Markets FX and Rates Trader to join its Linear EM Trading desk in London at Vice President level. This is a front-office trading role with real autonomy, offering the opportunity to trade across a broad range of EM currencies and linear interest rate derivatives within a top-tier global CIB.
The Role
You will be responsible for trading and risk managing a book spanning key EM currencies including PLN, CZK, HUF, RON, ZAR, TRY, ILS and MXN, with products covering FX and linear Interest Rate Derivatives. Operating within defined risk parameters, you will act as market maker for the desk's client base, formulate and execute trading strategies, and manage risk on both an intraday and interday basis.

You will work closely with Sales, Structuring, Quants Research and senior trading management, with daily reporting of P&L, risk and market movements to the Head of EM Rates Trading for Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and hedge the overall risk of the Linear FX and Rates portfolio within authorised limits
- Act as market maker, providing competitive pricing for clients and new products
- Formulate trading strategies based on market intelligence and economic data
- Advise Sales on market views and future developments
- Monitor and report on credit, market, operational and reputational risk
- Support and mentor more junior members of the trading team
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience trading and risk managing an EM FX and/or rates book within a bank or financial institution
- Strong knowledge of linear interest rate derivatives — pricing, hedging and risk management
- Sharp analytical and numerical skills with the ability to make fast, sound decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Structuring and Quants
- Degree in a mathematical or scientific discipline preferred, though strong market experience will be equally considered
- Bloomberg and Reuters proficiency; experience with Orchestrade or similar front office systems an advantage
- A second language is a plus but not required
