About The Opportunity

The role of Brand Activation Intern for the Laxatives category is part of the Western Europe Zone, focusing on the well-known and beloved brand Dulcolax in the UK.

We offer a fixed-term contract for one year, with the position based in Reading, Berkshire.

We are looking for consumer-oriented, performance-driven, communicative, and analytical candidates who are passionate about consumer healthcare. This is an opportunity to contribute to short- and mid-term executional excellence, helping Opella become the leading Fast-Moving Consumer Healthcare company in and for the world.

You will work in a dynamic and international team, closely collaborating with the UK Brand Manager and the Western Europe Zone team, as well as colleagues from key local functions: Sales, Media, Shopper, Performance, Innovation, Medical, Regulatory, and Supply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Developing & Implementing Consumer Campaigns
  • Assist in the development of creative assets (TV, Digital, etc.) and promotional materials (project management: timelines, briefing, feedback rounds)
  • Support external events and activations
  • Manage approval processes for promotional materials in local and Health Authority systems
  • Tracking & Analysis
  • Monitor and analyze market and competition trends
  • Track and analyze media plans and promotional actions
  • Support operational tasks and reporting
  • Participation in Sales Meetings
  • Prepare key messages, create presentations, and present during meetings
  • Build Transversal and External Relationships
  • Develop strong working relationships with local stakeholders and agencies, ensuring clarity in communication and understanding of market needs

Essential Requirements

  • Education: BSc or MSc - Ideally Business/Marketing - This is an intern position that may suit a recent graduate
  • Languages: Fluent in English
  • Professional Experience: Good level of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint essential) Previous internship experience in FMCG / OTC is a plus
  • Competencies & Skills: Proactivity and excellence in delivery, Results orientation and problem-solving, Analytical thinking, Project management skills, Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, Strong communication skills
