At Elis, we're on a mission to be the preferred provider of Workwear, Washroom and Mat services for businesses across the UK. As a Local Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in driving growth within your region, leading a team of Local Sales Consultants to identify new opportunities, win new business and deliver outstanding commercial results.

Your Mission at Elis
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of Local Sales Consultants to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Deliver weekly, monthly and annual revenue and profitability objectives.
- Ensure your team maintains a strong pipeline of opportunities and maximises conversion rates.
- Coach and support team members to understand customer needs and secure new business opportunities.
- Recruit, onboard and develop sales talent to build a high-performing team.
- Monitor sales activity, performance and productivity through effective use of CRM systems.
- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Develop strong knowledge of local markets, customers and competitor activity.
- Work closely with colleagues across the wider ICS Commercial function to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular market feedback and commercial insights to the Regional Director.

What will make you stand out?
- Proven experience leading and managing field-based or geographically dispersed sales teams.
- A successful track record of delivering sales growth and achieving commercial targets.
- Strong coaching, leadership and people development skills.
- Experience building and managing sales pipelines.
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales performance data.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, resilient and able to work autonomously.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
