About the Role

The Obstetrics and Gynaecology department within University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the top London Hospitals for training. This is a busy but very friendly tertiary level unit dealing with a wide range of conditions. Although the post is not recognised by the Royal College of Gynaecologist as training posts, we offer excellent educational opportunities with the successful applicant being allocated an educational supervisor and a firm for clinical exposure to our sub-specialty services.

The department is housed in a state-of-the-art facility in the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson wing of UCLH.

The successful candidates will join the existing strong Obstetrics and Gynaecology medical team, with an international reputation in excellent care and research.

The successful candidate will be fully supported by a thriving and friendly department and will be encouraged to take forward academic development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
