Based in the heart of London, 1st Option Locations is a leading location agency specialising in shoot location hire for editorial, advertising, and TV productions. With a diverse portfolio of over 500 locations across London and the Southeast, we’re proud to work with a wide range of high-profile clients and creative professionals across the industry.

We’re looking for an Account Exec/ Account Manager (level depending on experience) to work in our lively Primrose Hill office.

The role will require an outgoing personality and consists of both building up client relationships and managing bookings at our locations for the use of photoshoots/ filming.

This is an office-based role, we’re not considering remote or hybrid applications.

It would be an advantage if you have prior experience in the film and TV, photography or locations industry, however, candidates with a willingness to learn quickly and become highly knowledgeable about 1st Option's Clients and Locations, as well as the industry in general, will be considered.

The applicant should be commercially aware, have experience of generating new business, highly motivated, excellent attention to detail and have the enthusiasm to provide first class customer service.

Booking Enquiries / Pipeline Management

  • Managing incoming booking enquiries.
  • Responding to client and owner questions in a timely fashion.
  • Efficiently manage sales pipeline.
  • Have a high level of attention to detail.
  • Possess the ability to efficiently multi-task.
  • Experience of working to sales targets.
  • A high level of computer proficiency (ideally Mac)
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft programmes.
  • Maintaining a Commercial Focus - constantly seeking new business opportunities.
  • Identifying where new clients have come from, i.e. how they found us, and maintaining a report on this.
  • Researching new clients who send us enquiries to understand their business, bond with them and identify other business opportunities.
  • Key Account Management - maintaining and improving our relationships with Key Clients and Owners.

New Location Owner Management

  • New locations – being on top of location applications received and ensuring a swift response.
  • Negotiating with new owners over joining fees & photography fees.
  • Organising photographers to shoot new locations.
  • Organising allocation of the tasks of processing images for new location and updates for existing locations and managing fee collection for the latter.
  • Uploading new locations to the website
  • Be proactive and resourceful in sourcing new locations to the 1st Option website.
