About the Role
Panoramic Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority based in the Northern Home Counties who are looking for a Locum Adult Social Care Solicitor to join their team on an initial 6 month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.
The successful candidate will be able to work fully remotely, although there is a preference for occasional office attendance (approximately once a month) where possible. The client would be open to flexibility around this for the right candidate, and the role is accessible for candidates based across the Midlands and London.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing specialist legal advice and representation in relation to Adult Social Care matters.
- Advising on complex cases involving community care, safeguarding, mental health, and the protection of vulnerable adults.
- Supporting the client to ensure compliance with statutory duties.
- Providing practical, solutions-focused legal advice to social care teams.
- Opportunities to contribute to training and knowledge sharing with social care professionals.

Essential Criteria
- A qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive with litigation rights.
- Recent experience of working within a Local Authority or public sector setting advising on Adult Social Care matters.
- Strong knowledge of the legal framework surrounding adult social care, safeguarding, and community care.
- Experience managing a varied caseload independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong advocacy and litigation experience.
