Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) – Berwick
Employment Type: Temporary Salary:
- Weekdays: £45 per hour
- Weekends: £50 per hour
- Overnight shifts: £50 per hour Location: Berwick
About the Role: We are seeking a qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our team in Berwick.
Key Requirements & Expectations:
- Must be able to see and treat patients of all ages, including those requiring palliative care support
- Will participate in triage, centre visits, or home visits, depending on shift requirements
- Ideally hold a master’s degree (in nursing or related field) or be in the process of obtaining one
- Must be an independent practitioner (prescriber)
- Capable of working across multiple practice sites and committing to regular availability when shifts arise
- Must be reliable and prepared to fully engage in the onboarding process
- Preferred: Out-Of-Hours (OOH), GP surgery, or urgent care experience
- Essential: Live locally within commuting distance of Berwick

Training Requirements for OOH Work:
To work in Out-Of-Hours, you will need to complete the following:

- Online induction (typically held midweek evenings, 19:00–22:00)
- Palliative care training (dates usually midweek evenings, 19:00–20:30)
- A shadowing shift before working independently (minimum 4 hours duration)
