Join Caroline Cares For You
Caroline Cares For You has a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional domiciliary and live-in care. We currently provide around 500 hours of care per week, supporting people to remain independent in their own homes through high-quality visiting care and live-in care services.
Following our recent CQC inspection, we have developed a comprehensive and ambitious action plan to strengthen our service and return the branch to the Outstanding standard we know it is capable of achieving again.
We are now looking for an exceptional, experienced Locum Branch Manager to join us on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is an opportunity for a highly motivated leader who enjoys making a real difference, driving service improvements, supporting teams and embedding sustainable, high-quality practices.
Working alongside our senior leadership team, you will play a key role in implementing our improvement plan, supporting our staff and ensuring we continue to deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the day-to-day operational management of a busy domiciliary and live-in care service delivering approximately 500 care hours per week.
- Work collaboratively with senior management to implement and embed our CQC improvement action plan.
- Drive improvements in quality, governance, compliance and operational performance.
- Coach, mentor and develop the branch team to build confidence, accountability and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure safe staffing, effective rota management and excellent continuity of care.
- Complete audits, spot checks, care reviews and quality monitoring activities, ensuring actions are completed promptly.
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, local professionals and commissioners.
- Ensure compliance with CQC Regulations, safeguarding legislation and company policies.
- Support recruitment, induction, supervision and performance management of staff.
- Prepare the branch for future regulatory engagement by embedding robust governance processes and best practice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
