About the Role
A well-run and friendly GP surgery in North West London is recruiting for a Long Term Locum Clinical Pharmacist on a 6-month contract (starting ASAP). This is a hands-on, site-based role where you’ll be fully integrated into the practice team, supporting patient care, GP workload reduction, and clinical productivity.
✅ Not remote or desk-based – Expect a full-embed role with patient consultations, prescribing, structured medication reviews, and clinic ownership.

Your Responsibilities
- Lead medication reviews and optimisation clinics
- Manage acute and repeat prescribing efficiently
- Support long-term condition management (diabetes, hypertension, etc.)
- Deliver EMIS proficiency daily (essential for smooth practice operations)
- Reduce GP workload by integrating pharmacist-led services into the team
Requirements
- Qualified Clinical Pharmacist with GP surgery experience
- Independent Prescriber status required
- Solid EMIS experience (quick, confident, and error-free)
- Must be on-site oriented (no remote work) in a supportive, fast-paced practice
