# Consultant in Neurology
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Neurology team and work in one of the UK’s most rapidly developing cities.
Applications are invited for the role of Consultant in Neurology, based in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. This post is a 4-programmed activity (4 Medical Students) Fixed Term in the first instance.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute towards the current delivery of General Neurology out-patient clinics.
About the Department
The Clinical Neurosciences Department in Tayside and NE Fife serves a population of over 500,000. The department includes:
- Neurology
- Neurosurgery
- Clinical Neurophysiology
- Neuropsychology
- Chronic Pain Service

Currently, the department employs 6 NHS neurologists, 3 academic neurologists, and 1 neurophysiologist.

Tayside and NE Fife offer a variety of attractive amenities, including:

Requirements
Applicants must be:
- On the Specialist Register; or
- Within 6 months of CCT/CESR (CP) at the date of interview.
