Locum Dentist - Unscheduled Care Sessions
Do you enjoy the variety and pace of Access sessions? We're seeking a Locum Dentist to provide dedicated unscheduled NHS care, supporting patients who require urgent or unscheduled dental treatment. With a fully structured diary and realistic appointment times, you'll spend your day helping patients access the care they need when they need it most.
Location - Alpha Dental Care Great Ayton, 119 High Street, Great Ayton, Middlesborough, TS9 6BW
Days- Fridays only
What's on offer?
£600 per day (7 hours) Dedicated unscheduled care sessions 15-20 patients per day 20-minute appointment slots throughout the diary with some buffer time for and more complex cases Structured appointment book designed specifically for urgent and “Access” style care Clinical freedom to deliver high quality patient care Fully qualified and experienced nursing support Modern surgeries with well-maintained equipment High-quality materials and instruments provided Supportive practice and management team

For clinicians looking to establish longer-term patient relationships, there may also be opportunities to discuss taking on patients through our Dental Essentials or private membership plans. This could provide the opportunity to gradually build and develop your own private patient diary alongside the unscheduled care sessions. Where NHS capacity allows a similar approach could be taken to support core practice UDA delivery where needed
