About the Role

YourRetreats Ltd, a leading provider of park and luxury lodges, is seeking a dependable, skilled, and enthusiastic Lodge Siting and Snagging Operative to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient siting, positioning, and installation of lodges on both park and private locations. Additionally, you will handle snagging tasks and address any issues caused during transit to ensure the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

This role predominantly involves working away on-site, requiring travel to various locations to complete installations and rectify any snagging issues as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in joinery, plumbing, and basic electrical work, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high-quality finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Level and secure lodges using the appropriate tools and equipment in line with NCC guidance.
  • Address snagging issues, such as joinery, plumbing, and other damage caused during transit.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure all installations meet company standards.
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to ensure efficient and timely installation.
  • Communicate effectively with park owners or private clients regarding site requirements and any considerations.
  • Complete documentation and reports related to the siting process.
  • Maintain professionalism and deliver outstanding customer service when interacting with clients.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow site plans.
  • Experience using tools and equipment for leveling and securing structures.
  • Competence in joinery and the ability to address all types of snagging issues.
  • Understanding of plumbing, electrical, and general finishing work.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Experience operating heavy machinery (e.g., telehandlers and forklifts) is preferred.
  • Understanding of health and safety practices in a construction environment.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home for extended periods.
  • Valid UK driver’s license.
