Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Loft Insulation Installer based in Garforth. The Loft Insulation Installer will prepare work areas, assess loft spaces, and install insulation materials in line with company standards and building regulations.

- Handling and cutting insulation materials
- Laying insulation to specified depths
- Sealing gaps
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
The role also involves:
- Loading and unloading materials
- Maintaining tools and equipment
- Keeping accurate records of completed work
The installer will work closely with site supervisors, follow health and safety procedures, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction, insulation installation, or a related trade, with practical skills in using hand and power tools.
- Understanding of basic building practices, energy efficiency principles, and safe handling of insulation materials.
- Ability to work at height and in confined loft spaces, with good physical fitness and manual handling capability.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow technical instructions, and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Reliable time management, teamwork skills, and clear communication with colleagues and site supervisors.
- Full UK driving license and access to transport are beneficial for travel to various sites.
- Previous experience on new build housing sites and familiarity with UK health and safety regulations are an advantage.
- Relevant construction or trade qualifications (e.g., NVQ or equivalent) are desirable but not essential; on-the-job training may be provided.
