Logging Engineer – Specialist Drilling Team
Igne is searching for a Logging Engineer to join our Specialist Drilling team. This is an engaging hands-on, outdoor role that will take you to drilling sites nationwide, where you will operate specialist wireline logging equipment, acquire high-quality borehole geophysics data, and collaborate with geotechnical engineers and drillers on diverse projects.
The position requires UK-wide travel and presents an outstanding opportunity to advance your career within a dynamic and expanding team.

Responsibilities
- Operate wireline logging equipment from our specialist vehicle
- Monitor real-time data acquisition to ensure accuracy and quality
- Perform equipment checks, calibrations, and on-site troubleshooting
- Maintain field logs, job reports, and data records
- Collaborate with site teams to meet project objectives
- Adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) procedures
- Support equipment maintenance and mobilisation
Requirements

- A basic understanding of geotechnical drilling operations (preferred)
- Mechanical and electrical competence with strong troubleshooting skills
- Clear communication and solid IT skills (familiarity with Microsoft Office)
- High attention to detail, plus a commitment to HSE compliance
- Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions, independently and with clients
- Willingness to travel UK-wide and work flexible or extended hours
- Full UK driving license
