Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for your next opportunity?
Yeo Valley is on the lookout for a reliable and skilled Logistics Operative to join our busy distribution team at Isleport, Somerset. This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving warehouse environment and has solid hands-on experience operating Reach Trucks, Counterbalance Forklifts and other Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operation - moving stock safely and efficiently, keeping the warehouse flowing, and ensuring every order leaves in perfect condition. Accuracy and attention to detail are key, especially when picking and packing. You’ll also be supporting with stock control, general warehouse duties, and upholding the highest standards of safety and hygiene.

We’re ideally looking for someone with a valid (or recently expired) Reach Truck licence and proven forklift/MHE experience in a warehouse or logistics setting. A flexible, safety-first attitude and strong teamwork are essential.

The shift pattern for this position is 4 on 4 off, 20:00pm to 8:00am
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Operating Reach Trucks, Counterbalance Forklifts and other MHE safely and competently
- Booking in stock, storing stock and managing stock-related issues
- Undertaking stock checks and maintaining accurate records
- Picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer requirements
- Ensuring safe use of all equipment and reporting any faults or breakdowns
- Maintaining strict Health & Safety and hygiene standards in a chilled environment
- Minimising wastage and supporting overall efficiency
This role may also be called "Skilled Operator" Internally
Qualifications
- Valid (or recently expired) Reach Truck and/or Counterbalance license
- Strong practical experience using forklifts and MHE in a warehouse setting
- Good communication, numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, chilled environment
- Previous experience of warehouse or packing roles is desirable
- Food hygiene and Health & Safety certificates (desirable)
