About the Team
The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated. We're currently seeking a Logistics intern to join our logistics procurement team, responsible for logistics service procurement and supplier management in Europe.
About The Role
Our UK team is developing a new self-operated warehouse model to support future e-commerce growth, including peak trading periods such as Black Friday 2027 and ongoing order fulfillment operations. As part of this initiative, we are building a local supply network for warehouse equipment, operational materials, and packaging solutions across multiple product categories.
To support this expansion, we are looking for a team member who can help bridge communication with local suppliers, support supplier research, coordinate quotation processes, and provide market insights to help us identify reliable partners in the UK.
As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early.
Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with local UK suppliers specializing in e-commerce warehouse equipment and consumables. Handle daily enquiries, requirement alignment, and follow up on ongoing operational issues.
- Collect and organize basic information of local suppliers, complete document filing and regular information updates, and maintain a standardized local supplier database.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, accurately verify and consolidate pricing data, and prepare clear quotation comparison sheets for internal review.
- Monitor project progress of cooperating suppliers, conduct daily business communication, and collect and report operational and cooperation issues in a timely manner.
- Support the procurement team with document sorting, data statistics, English-Chinese document translation, and other ad-hoc administrative and operational tasks.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
