Logistics Administrative Assistant

Donnington -Telford- Head Office

Salary: £26,227.50 Per Annum

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm

Responsibilities

As a Logistics Administrative Assistant, you will play a support role to carry out all administrative duties in relation to Distribution. As a Logistics Administrative Assistant your responsibilities are:

  • To route plan all bulk orders, releasing of orders into the system, set delivery dates for RDC’s whilst also supporting the RDC’s with sending bulk orders direct through our third-party couriers daily.
  • Booking of Shredding and FedEx collections for customers.
  • Following Processes for specific tasks.
  • Compile information as required by the Distribution Operations Manager and Regional Distribution Managers.
  • Carry general SAP duties.
  • Support the Control Tower with Holiday cover. (3pm -11pm + Shift allowance).
  • Planning of Large orders for customer specific deliveries.
  • Maintenance of vehicle records ensuring all V5’s are filed and correct, updating of Tax and fuel cards management.

The ideal Logistics Administrative Assistant will:

  • Able to work cohesively within teams, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and align with cross-functional partners.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive SAP knowledge is essential.
  • You must have excellent experience with the Microsoft Office Package (primarily Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • Proven experience in logistics ideal but not required - providing you can demonstrate examples of how you are efficient with time and organisational skills.
  • Willing and able to cover holiday’s as and when required on the 3pm – 11pm shift.
