JOB DETAILS
We are looking for an organised and proactive Logistics Administrator to join our Logistics and Purchasing team in Lincoln. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on attention to detail and wants to play a key role in ensuring products, parts and supplies are delivered where they are needed, when they are needed.
What you will be doing
As part of our Logistics team, you will help manage the flow of spare parts, consumables and equipment across the business, supporting both internal teams and strategic customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Raising and processing purchase orders
- Tracking deliveries and monitoring supplier lead times
- Running reports and extracting data from internal systems
- Updating internal systems accurately and efficiently
- Managing stock allocations and utilisation of internal inventory
- Processing returns and asset recoveries
- Supporting supplier relationships and requesting quotations
- Resolving supplier and distributor invoice queries
- Responding to stock availability and delivery enquiries
- Working closely with internal departments and external suppliers
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
- Supporting the team in achieving service levels and performance targets
A typical working pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a one-hour lunch break. This role is paying £12.71 per hour. This role also offers flexibility to work from home, typically two days per week for a five-day working week.

Skills And Experience Required
You will be someone who enjoys organisation, problem-solving and delivering excellent service in a busy operational environment.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Previous administration experience within logistics, purchasing, supply chain or a similar environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Confidence communicating with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
- A positive attitude and desire to learn new skills
Experience working with stock, purchasing systems or supply chain processes would be advantageous.
