We are working on behalf of our global forwarding and logistics services client, looking to appoint a Logistics and Freight Forwarding Executive to cover the day shift, on a 4 on 4 off pattern, working 7am to 7pm, from their Bedfordshire branch.
What You'll Do
As Logistics and Freight Forwarding Executive a typical day will involve organising import and export movements. You'll be liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments, building strong relationships with clients through regular communication and excellent service, whilst ensuring compliance and maintaining protocols.
Duties include
- Ensure all Import / Export movements (All Modes of transport) are completed / covered efficiently
- Import / Export Compliance (ASM Import / Export Entries)
- Maintaining Aviation Protocols
- Liaising with Customers
- Manage and prioritise workload
- Manage group inbox and reply in a timely and professional manner

What You Need
We're keen to speak to resourceful freight forwarding professionals who have experience with Import/Export documentation across all modes. Applicants should have 1st class communication skills.
- 1:2 years experience in Import / Export documentation through all modes of transport
- Able to communicate on all levels
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt and be flexible
