Job Advert: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Horsham (Langhurstwood Road) : 100% Onsite
Position Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Contract (with potential for extension)
Hours: 38.75 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
Salary: GBP15.86 per hour
Available Shift Patterns
- Core Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Standard rate)
- Early Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Includes a 10% shift allowance premium)

The Role
Under the direction of the Logistics Team Leader, you will work closely with internal teams, external clients, and global couriers. Your primary mission is to ensure clinical trial products are delivered fit for purpose, on time, and seamlessly:maintaining the highest quality standards at the right cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Import and Export Processing: Review customs documents, provide clearance instructions for incoming shipments, and raise required documentation for global exports.
- Data and Compliance: Accurately enter shipment details into courier ERP systems. Ensure all paperwork is filed in line with regulatory requirements to maintain Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status.
- Client and Courier Relations: Proactively handle client inquiries, track pro:forma invoices, and interact daily with couriers to source the best shipping options.
- Specialized Documentation: Apply for Certificates of Origin with the Local Chamber of Commerce and raise Controlled Drug License applications with government departments.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in cross:functional business process improvements and apply Good Manufacturing Principles (GMP) to meet RFT (Right First Time) and OTIF (On Time In Full) metrics.

What We Are Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Strong administration, planning, and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and experience using electronic/automated systems.
- A proven self:starter who thrives both independently and within a collaborative, cross:functional team.
Preferred Qualifications (Highly Desirable But Not Essential)

- Prior experience working within an operational, logistics, or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Principles) requirements.
- Experience guiding or mentoring colleagues.
