Logistics Coordinator – Part-Time Opportunity – 20 Hours Per Week

About the Role

Keeping a logistics operation running smoothly isn’t just about warehouses or road transport—it’s about having the right information, coordination, and support behind every decision.

At Screwfix, our logistics network is critical to delivering the products our customers need, on time. We’re seeking a Logistics Coordinator to bring structure, pace, and organisation to a fast-moving team that supports millions of customer journeys annually.

This role is part-time (20 hours per week, Monday to Friday), with flexibility to accommodate key projects. Ideal working hours: 10am–2pm daily, though some shift in hours may be required around core business priorities.

The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Logistics Operations, coordinating priorities, supporting projects, managing stakeholder relationships, and providing critical reporting to drive operational efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Logistics Coordinator, your responsibilities include:

  • Calendar & Event Management:
    • Scheduling appointments and meetings.
    • Preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and following up on action items for the Director of Logistics and key stakeholders.
  • Task & Project Coordination:
    • Assisting with project management by tracking deadlines for the Director of Logistics Operations.
    • Ensuring projects progress smoothly, deadlines are met, and teams remain aligned.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Building and maintaining productive relationships with internal colleagues and external third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Operational Reporting:
    • Supporting the logistics team in reporting and performance management across contracts (Distribution Centres (DCs), Transport, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and carriers).
  • Personal Development:
    • Aligning key quarterly objectives with your line manager via 1-to-1s and quarterly check-ins.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
