Description
Plessey are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our high-tech manufacturing site, on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you will join a small but established Warehouse Team, supporting all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics.
In this role, you will play a key part in managing materials and ensuring the efficient flow of goods throughout the business to support our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record inbound deliveries in SAP.
- Resolve delivery discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods with suppliers and Procurement.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and movement of materials, including hazardous substances.
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with internal teams to route materials correctly and provide required documentation.
- Issue stock accurately and maintain reliable stores and inventory records.
- Support stock counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license.
- Experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused approach.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- IT literate, ideally with experience using ERP systems such as SAP.
