Logistics Coordinator
The Logistics Coordinator supports the efficient movement of materials, equipment, and documentation required for project delivery. The role coordinates daily logistics activities, maintains accurate system records, supports regulatory compliance, and works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure materials are delivered safely, on time, and in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate same-day deliveries, courier services, and planned inbound and outbound shipments.
- Manage both temporary and permanent international shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, tracking, and on-time delivery.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate logistics activities.
- Monitor shipment progress, communicate updates, and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or delivery issues.
- Escalate logistics, compliance, or supplier performance risks that could impact project delivery.

Administration & Systems
- Process goods receipts, inventory transactions, and other ERP system activities, ensuring data accuracy.
- Maintain accurate shipment, inventory, and logistics records to support reporting and traceability.
- Ensure all shipment documentation, approvals, and delivery schedules meet project and customer requirements.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Procurement, Project Management, Warehouse, and Operations teams to support project delivery.
- Provide regular shipment status updates and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
Compliance & CBAM
- Support Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) reporting by gathering emissions and product data from suppliers and internal databases.
- Ensure compliance with customs, import/export regulations, company policies, and other applicable legal requirements.
- Maintain logistics compliance documentation and support internal and external audits.

Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve logistics processes, documentation, communication, and operational efficiency. Referring commercial or strategic decisions to the Supply Chain Manager.
- Prioritize daily workload to meet business and project deadlines while maintaining service levels.
Health & Safety
- Follow company Health & Safety policies and contribute to maintaining a safe, compliant working environment.
Qualifications
- Experience with logistics administration or supply chain operations in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems experience is a must (e.g., Epicor, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
