A well-established manufacturer with an excellent reputation is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team near Steyning.
The Role
We are looking for an organised, hands-on Logistics Coordinator to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operations. You will manage the receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of parts while upholding the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and customer service.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the receipt, assembly, and timely dispatch of goods
- Liaise with suppliers and transport providers
- Process import/export customs documentation
- Pick, pack, and prepare parts to excellent standards
- Operate counterbalance forklifts and handling equipment
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory (FIFO)
- Support warehouse organisation, space utilisation, and housekeeping
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards

The Candidate
Essential:

- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated team player who can also work independently
- Able to thrive under pressure and multitask
- Physically fit for warehouse duties
Desirable:
- Forklift licence and mechanical handling experience
- Knowledge of import/export procedures
- MRP / warehouse systems experience
The Package
Salary up to £33,500 (rising to £35,000 after probation)
