Logistics Coordinator - Horsham

Are you a detail-oriented professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare sector? We are currently seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Horsham. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the seamless distribution of clinical trial products, directly contributing to our mission of helping our customers make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Responsibilities

  • Manage import and export processes, including documentation, customs clearance, and courier coordination.
  • Accurately enter shipment details into ERP systems to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
  • Maintain meticulous records in accordance with regulatory and study requirements to uphold Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status.
  • Proactively manage client inquiries, track pro forma invoices, and facilitate Certificate of Origin applications.
  • Handle Controlled Drug License applications in coordination with government departments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal departments to meet strict logistics metrics and project timelines.

What We Offer

  • Compensation: GBP15.86 per hour / GBP32,000 annual equivalent
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30-17:00
  • Duration: 12-month contract
  • Start Date: Monday 27th July or Monday 3rd August

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong numerical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • High level of accuracy with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience in an operational or logistics environment is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of GMP requirements and quality systems is considered a significant asset.
