Logistics Coordinator (Seafreight/Exports)
Tilbury
£35,000 - £40,000 + Training + Progression + Pension + Bonus + Hybrid (after probation)

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join an established Logistics/Freight company handling export shipments for a diverse customer base across global markets. You'll take ownership of export operations from booking through to final delivery, working closely with customers, carriers, overseas agents and internal teams to ensure shipments are completed accurately, compliantly and on time.
This role would suit an Logistics Coordinator or similar with experience in sea and air freight exports looking to further their career within a collaborative freight forwarding environment, where they'll gain exposure to all aspects of export logistics and have genuine opportunities for long-term development.

In this role, the successful Logistics Coordinator or similar will coordinate export shipments via air and sea freight, arrange bookings with carriers, complete customs declarations and export documentation, liaise with customers, hauliers, warehouses and overseas agents, and ensure all shipments meet strict vessel and flight deadlines. They will also manage invoicing, produce manifests, monitor shipment progress and provide excellent customer service throughout the export process.
The Role:
- Coordinating export shipments across airfreight and seafreight from booking through to delivery
- Completing customs entries, export documentation, manifests and liaising with carriers, warehouses and overseas agents
- Managing customer communication, invoicing and ensuring shipments meet all vessel and flight deadlines
The Person:
- Exports Logistics Coordinator or similar
- Experience within export freight forwarding covering airfreight and seafreight
- Experience completing export documentation and customs declarations
- Looking to develop their career within a Family run logistics business
