As our client portfolio continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Logistics Director to lead the logistics strategy and delivery for some of our largest and most complex global event programs.
This is a senior leadership role where you'll oversee every aspect of event logistics—from global freight and transportation to venue operations, accommodation, inventory management, and onsite execution—ensuring every program is delivered seamlessly, safely, and to the exceptional standards our clients expect.

What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with our Account Directors, Event Services Directors, and cross-functional teams, you'll act as the Logistics Lead across multiple global programs, providing strategic direction while ensuring flawless operational delivery.
You'll own the logistics function from planning through to onsite execution, balancing commercial performance, operational excellence, and outstanding client service.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Logistics Leadership
- Develop and lead logistics strategies across large-scale global event programs.
- Act as the Logistics Lead, overseeing all logistics workstreams from planning through to delivery.
- Provide strategic advice to clients, ensuring logistics plans support both business objectives and exceptional attendee experiences.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce operational risk, and introduce best practice across logistics operations.
- Lead post-event reviews, analyzing performance, and driving continuous improvement.
Logistics Program Delivery
- Lead logistics planning and delivery for complex international events with audiences of 5,000–20,000+ attendees.
- Oversee all logistics workstreams including freight, shipping, transportation, accommodation, inventory management, customs, venue logistics, and onsite operations.
- Develop detailed logistics plans, schedules, trackers, and contingency plans.
- Coordinate suppliers, venues, and operational partners to ensure seamless delivery.
- Collaborate with Production, Technical Production, Sponsorship, Registration, Food & Beverage, and Creative teams to deliver integrated event experiences.
- Manage operational risks and implement effective contingency planning throughout program delivery.

Client Partnership
- Build trusted relationships with clients, acting as the senior logistics advisor throughout program delivery.
- Provide proactive communication, practical solutions, and expert guidance across all logistics activities.
- Work collaboratively with Account Directors to ensure logistics strategies align with wider program objectives.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Prepare, own, and manage logistics budgets of up to $55 million.
- Monitor program spend, forecasting, and financial performance throughout delivery.
- Negotiate supplier contracts to achieve the best possible value while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring programs remain financially successful.
Leadership & Mentoring
- Lead multidisciplinary logistics teams across complex international programs.
- Mentor and coach colleagues, helping develop logistics capability across the business.
- Support recruitment, freelancer selection, and resource planning as the team continues to grow.
- Champion collaboration, operational excellence, and Nteractive's values across every project.
What You Will Bring
We're looking for an experienced logistics leader who combines exceptional operational expertise with commercial awareness and outstanding client relationship skills.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Significant experience (10+ years) delivering logistics for large-scale global events.
- Proven experience acting as the Logistics Lead across complex international programs.
- Extensive experience managing logistics workstreams for events with 5,000–13,000+ attendees.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets of up to $55 million.
- Excellent knowledge of international freight, customs, transportation, accommodation, and venue logistics.
- Experience leading cross-functional project teams and managing multiple suppliers.
- Strong stakeholder management and consultancy skills with the confidence to advise senior clients.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with confidence using PowerPoint and other business systems.
- A calm, proactive, and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to thrive under pressure.

Additional requirements
- Hybrid role based in the UK. (max 1 day a week)
- Ability to attend our Staines-upon-Thames office as required to support collaboration and client needs.
- Suitable home working environment.
- Minimum broadband speed of 25MB download / 2MB upload.
- Willingness and ability to undertake international travel throughout the year (approximately 20–30%).
- Flexibility to work across multiple global time zones when required.
