About the Role
We are seeking a bright, professional, and enthusiastic Logistics Executive with logistics and transport operations experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent communication and commercial skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
Reporting into the Transport & Logistics function, this role supports day-to-day logistics activities—planning, managing, and ensuring efficient shipment delivery. As a key logistics knowledge resource, the candidate will assist decision-making and operational testing. Working with internal stakeholders, freight forwarders, and international teams across the UK, Europe, Asia, and the US, the role ensures transport solutions are compliant, commercially sound, and operationally effective.
The successful applicant must be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to develop within logistics, showcasing strong problem-solving abilities, commercial awareness, and deadline adherence.
Key Responsibilities
Transport & Logistics Operations
- Monitor daily shipment activity via logistics systems, ensuring timely updates and issue resolution.
- Coordinate transport bookings for both domestic and international movements.
- Manage delivery exceptions, proactively resolving transport or service issues.
- Maintain accuracy in logistics documentation and systems.

Compliance & Trade Knowledge
- Apply Incoterms® expertise to ensure correct movement planning and cost allocation.
- Provide HS (commodity) code classification, guaranteeing proper customs treatment.
- Garantee import documentation and processes meet customs and regulatory compliance.
Stakeholder & Supplier Management
- Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics partners to verify service fulfillment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to offer logistics guidance and operational support.
- Partner with international teams to align global shipment activities.
Subject Matter Expertise & Business Support
- Serve as the Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal panel tests and assessments.
- Contribute logistics input to new initiatives, changes, or operational tests.
- Support continuous process improvement across logistics functions.
- Generate ad-hoc operational data or analysis as needed.

Ways of Working
- Effectively prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks/deadlines simultaneously.
- Hybrid role requiring in-office presence at least 3 days per week.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Proven logistics, transport, or supply chain coordination experience.
- Strong understanding of Incoterms® and HS code classification.
- Knowledge of import customs processes, duties, and compliance.
- Proficiency in organisational, communication, and time management skills.
- Commercial awareness with a sharp eye for detail.
- Ability to self-motivate, work under pressure, and adopt a proactive approach.
- Competent MS Office user, particularly advanced Excel skills.
Desirable
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related fields.
- Professional logistics qualification (e.g., CILT).
- International freight experience (road, sea, or air).
- Experience with logistics transport management systems.
- Exposure to cross-regional or global logistics operations.
