We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager to join our operations Team at our brand-new, state-of-the-art, manufacturing facility in Basingstoke.

The Role:

As Logistics Manager, you will manage the day-to-day activities of the logistic department.

Key Duties:

• Leading and managing the day-to-day activities of logistics team, including workload planning, performance management and development.
• Setting, monitoring and reviewing team KPIs, such as OTIF, freight costs and shipment performance.
• Collaborating with Customer Service team on order status.
• Ensuring timely date management of customer orders and schedules of shipments
• Providing a hands-on approach to support shipments as required.
• Acting as the company lead for customs regulations, import/export compliance and trade compliance.
• Maintaining strong working knowledge of Customs Tariff classifications and import/export procedures.
• Developing and maintaining group trade compliance policies and procedures.
• Ensuring shipping documentation, customs records and logistics processes are accurate and compliant.
• Identifying and implementing processes to improve efficiency and customer service levels.
• Ensuring efficient and cost-effective distribution and movement of goods.
• Coordinating freight movements and managing relationships with freight forwarders, carriers and logistics providers.
• Working cross-functionally with Planning, Purchasing, Production, Stores and to support customer order and operational priorities.
